Tough Ruck 2020

Task Force Resolute is proud to, once again, partner with nationalgrid and the 1LT Derek Hines Soldiers Assistance Fund, to sponsor a team of veterans in the 2020 Tough Ruck sponsored by Military Friends Foundation. This will be our fourth year to partner in sponsoring a team of veterans in this event. In the past 3 years we have been told by veterans who participated in this event that it made a huge positive impact in their lives. Several have said it lifted them up from a dark place. Being with veterans who have experienced combat similar to what they experienced and being able to talk about it is one of the most therapeutic situations they can be in.

A participant in a past Tough Ruck that Task Force Resolute sponsored said, "I think that this event may have saved my life. I was headed down a bad road and thanks to my wife who arranged my being there with my buddies and Leta Carruth, our Airborne Momma. I needed the love of my brothers to re-ground me and set me right. It was amazing how comfortable we all were together even after all the years apart. It is a bond that I think only men who have shared the same hell can have."

Vietnam Bravo Bulls Reunion

In late 2018 Task Force Resolute was contacted regarding assistance to support the 51st reunion of the 173rd, 2-503rd Bravo Company "Bravo Bulls" Vietnam veterans.  It is always an honor to do what we can to support our combat veterans of all ages and from all wars.

We provided support for their dinner and punch bowl memorial ceremony.  The punch bowl ceremony is held following the dinner.  Each veteran who was killed in action and those who have passed since serving has a cup with their name on it.  As each name is read one of the surviving Bravo Bulls turns the cup over with that man's name on it.  It is an incredibly moving ceremony.
